Background:
AMPM, a prominent real estate development and investment company, recently acquired a struggling shopping Arcade located in Royal Wootton Bassett. The company recognised the potential in the area and aimed to revitalise it by bringing new shops and innovative ideas to create a more modern shopping experience. The purchase was not only seen as a profitable investment opportunity but also as a chance to provide a valuable service to the local community.
Background:
A 38-bedroom social housing property split between 11 flats and 4 houses in a dilapidated condition in the heart of Exeter. The property, with a rich history and architectural significance, was in dire need of restoration to bring it back to its former glory. AMPM saw an opportunity not only to revitalise the property but also to contribute to the local community by converting it into a care facility, addressing the critical need for affordable housing and care services in the area.
We were recently entrusted with the management of a block located in Worthing. The block, comprising 116 residential units and assorted common areas, had been previously unfinished. This lack of completion led to numerous challenges and snags that needed immediate attention.
Initially, we conducted a thorough site visit to assess the building's condition and develop a comprehensive plan for moving forward. During this visit, we proactively engaged with residents experiencing issues, fostering a friendly environment that facilitated a deeper understanding of their specific needs.
Following this, our priority was to establish and maintain open lines of communication with all residents, aiming to rebuild trust and ensure that everyone felt heard and valued.
We revisited and re-onboarded compliance suppliers to ensure that all regulatory standards were met and, simultaneously raised the overall standards within the block. This step was pivotal in enhancing the quality of services and facilities provided to the residents, along with maintaining the value of the building.
